18 May NEW FACES
The last few months has brought an influx of talented people to make HUB even better than ever. If you happen to find yourself talking on the phone with one of them, here’s some background so you know who you are talking to:
Doug Staats came on board recently to replace outgoing product manager Jesse Silvis. Doug stands 6’5″ and likes to ride his Harley Road King.
Jonathan Sluss, known by his cubicle neighbors as Dr. Sluess, had a position created just to make room for him in the organization. He is our new Product Support Specialist, which is a behind-the-scenes post bringing improvements to the content on our web and catalog descriptions, among other things.

Nick Tynda has been working for us in our manufacturing shop since the beginning of 2017. He measures out and cuts blade material for our welders to turn into band saw blades. A native of Jacksonville, Nick moved to Lake City with his parents 4 years ago. He’s an affable young man, eager to learn.
Sandra Sluss has been manning the phones in our client services department since late 2016. She’s a born talker-and we mean that in a good way-very friendly, but keen to pick up on the small details that make the difference in the delivery of top-notch customer service.
Tamara Doherty came to HUB with a proven record in industrial supply sales. She possesses a rare combination of attention to detail, care for her customer, and a bubbly personality. We’re grateful to have such a seasoned veteran working on our team.
Jenny Kampmeyer is a mother of three came to work for us after years of working in her own family business. She’s joined the team to help us maintain our quality control standards. She’s also involved helping our clients get their logos and other messaging applied to the safety gear they buy.
Lauren Butler has been calling on pallet companies in her role as industry specialist. She’s new to the business, but she’s up for the challenge. “Everybody’s been really generous and willing to help me learn,” she said.
